Operator Pedals The operator pedals are set out in an automotive style with the accelerator, brake and inching pedal ergonomically positioned to reduce operator fatigue even during long shift operations. The pedal shafts are mounted under the driver compartment floor to give a clear, spacious area. The large accelerator pedal is designed to be operated with little effort and the hydraulically boosted power brake with its curved pedal design keeps braking effort to a minimum. The combination creep/brake pedal allows the operator to inch the truck in either direction with retaining full lifting speed. This enables efficient and accurate maneuverability of the truck and its load. When the pedal is depressed past the creep position the brakes are applied.
